Sibo brings the drums, teaches a rhythm from nothing, and has the whole room playing it together. A classroom, a team day, a festival stage or a wedding.
Four kinds of room.
The format changes, the instrument does not. Sibo brings the drums, teaches a real rhythm from nothing, and the room plays it together before the session ends.
Schools and universities
Incursions for one class or the whole year group. Drums for everyone, a rhythm learned from nothing, and a performance by the end of the session.
Corporate and team days
A drum circle does in forty minutes what a trust exercise does not manage in a day. Groups of 10 to 100. Everything is supplied.
Festivals and community events
Performance, participation, or both. Sibo has played events from small community days to main stages.
Private functions
Birthdays, weddings, celebrations. A performance, a circle everybody joins, or a quiet set while people eat.
Forty minutes, start to finish.
A drum each
Sibo brings enough instruments for everybody. Nobody watches.
Three sounds
Bass, tone and slap. That is the entire instrument and it takes five minutes.
Parts on top
The room splits into groups, each with a part, layered until it locks.
You play it
By the end the room is playing one rhythm together, properly, and knows it.
The four numbers
you need.
Above a hundred it becomes a performance with the audience joining in, which often suits a big event better.
Djembes, dunduns and percussion for the whole group, delivered and set up. You supply the room and the people.
The standard session, and the right length for most groups. Half and full days work for year-group rotations.
Room for everybody to sit with a drum between their knees. Tables pushed back is usually enough.

We had ninety Year 8s in the hall on the last day of term, which is the hardest room in the school. Every one of them was playing the same rhythm by the end of the period.
I have booked a lot of team days and most of them make people cringe. Nobody opted out of this one, including the two who told me beforehand they would be sitting it out.
He arrived, set up, ran it, packed down and left, and I did not have to manage any of it. For an event day that is worth as much as the session itself.
The staff kept talking about it for weeks. It also did more for the two teams that do not speak to each other than any workshop we have paid for.
We had students with additional needs in the group and I was unsure how it would go. He adjusted without making a thing of it and they were part of it the whole way through.
